James graduated from Cornell University, College of Arts and Sciences in
2000 (cum laude) and from Georgetown University Law Center in 2003 (cum laude). James regularly works on real estate matters, including conveyancing, leasing, land use and zoning, title insurance and secured lending. He has experience representing area lenders and borrowers in commercial and residential loan transactions. James has also represented real estate developers with private and state financing transactions.
James also practices intellectual property law, including, licensing, trademark and copyright. James regularly obtains trademark registration, both state and federal, for clients. His experience includes preparing and negotiating licensing agreements among both intellectual property holders and those desiring to obtain rights to intellectual property. Mr. Vevone's business practice extends to representation of local businesses, which includes creating business entities and providing general business advice.
