Grew up in Clemson, S.C.-father taught English at Clemson For 35 years.

Married to Tracey Bradley Lane. Two sons by previous marriage, Eric Lane and Mitchell Lane. Step-daughter, Cameron Bradley. All children grown and married or engaged to be married.
