Smith, Jeremy Ian

Ms. Smith has been practicing labor employment law exclusively for twenty-five years. She has been admitted to the Bar in Connecticut, New York, Louisiana, Georgia, and Florida. She graduated from St. John’s College in Annapolis, MD (1984) with honors and the Tulane University School of Law (1987) with honors. She has been admitted to the U.S. District Courts in Louisiana, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle District of Florida and U.S. Court of Appeals 11th Circuit. Ms. Smith has limited her legal practice to matters arising out of the employment relationship. Representing management for the majority of her career, Ms. Smith brings that perspective to her passionate representation of employees and employers alike here at Wenzel Fenton Cabassa, P.A.

Ms. Smith has volunteered her legal skills to a variety of charitable organizations including religious organizations and community outreach organizations. She is a member of the Hillsborough County Association of Women Lawyers and the Labor and Employment Section of the Florida Bar. She has authored numerous articles and publications on labor and employment issues.

• Ms. Smith was born in Decatur, Georgia, and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She has two children.
• Ms. Smith enjoys spending time with her children and supporting their many activities.
