Sarah's diverse background helps her understand the differing circumstances, backgrounds and lifestyles of her clients. After graduating from Shepherd High School she attended Alma College where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in Business Administration and Dance and Theater. While attending Alma College she also worked part-time at Mid Michigan Medical Center—Gratiot, and after she graduated, she was hired on full time in the Human Resources Department where she eventually became the primary recruiter for the health system. After spending three years in Human Resources, Sarah decided it was time to reach for her dream and go to law school.
At Thomas M. Cooley Law School Sarah excelled. She was the Managing Editor of the Law Review, a Teacher's Assistant in the 60+ Estate Planning Clinic, a Research Assistant (where she helped to write two Constitutional Law text books), and graduated in the top 10% of her class. Sarah also worked full-time while attending law school as an Investment Advisor and Office Manager for a financial planning firm in East Lansing. She holds both a series 7 and 66 license.
Sarah is passionate about spending time with her husband, Eric, her step-son, Gabe, and their German shorthair, Schatzi. She is also the proud aunt of 13 nieces and nephews and enjoys spending as much time with family as possible.
