Anne Marie Pignatiello has been licensed to practice law in Colorado since October 1999, and has been licensed to practice law by the United States Supreme Court since May 2010. Anne is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and Boulder Bar Association – Family Law Section. Throughout the majority of her career, Anne was a prosecutor for the Boulder County District Attorney’s Office. While there, she specialized in prosecuting felony drug, homicides, domestic violence and sexual assault cases.
Anne graduated magna cum laude from Boston College in December 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Anne was a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society. In the Spring of 1996, Anne interned with the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office – Consumer Complaint Division. In May 1999, Anne graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, and was a member of their moot court team. Anne has lived in Colorado since 1998.
Ms. Pignatiello is an accomplished trial attorney, having tried over 100 cases during the course of her career. She continues to perfect her trial skills through countless hours of continuing legal education and her daily practice. Although Anne spends considerable time throughout the Denver metropolitan area in various courtrooms, Ms. Pignatiello’s practice extends throughout Colorado to every jurisdiction and every Court within the state.
Anne joined the Moorhead and Griffin law firm in July 2012 in order to specialize in Family Law matters. Anne believes that her vast knowledge of the courtroom, excellent legal research, writing and organizational skills, extensive experience dealing with victims, emotionally charged situations, and difficult and highly complex cases make her an asset in the area of Family Law.
Ms. Pignatiello specializes in providing personal, affordable services that focus on the issues that are valuable to her clients. Anne is also well-versed and effective at resolving issues through various alternative dispute resolution channels. Mediation, Arbitration and Settlement tactics are vital in the family law area, and Anne believes that these tools are important useful techniques for resolving matters without the expense, burden and uncertainty of courtroom litigation. Anne believes that every case should be evaluated for each individual client’s goals and desires. With those goals and desires in mind, Anne makes a determination with respect as to how best and most effectively attain those goals.
Anne believes that issues revolving around parental responsibilities are critical for the development and comfort of parents and their children. Enabling a child to spend quality time with a parent without unwarranted intrusion or influence from an ex-spouse is central for the continuing stages of that child’s development and happiness. To that end, Anne focuses her attention on matters that build on the bond between children and their parents in those cases that involve children, and is a zealous advocate in her representation of your rights as a parent.
