Bill Perrone is a partner in Wiggin and Dana's Corporate Practice Department and Technology and Outsourcing Group. Bill represents clients on complex, strategic, corporate transactions involving technology-driven companies, including mergers and acquisitions, business process and information technology outsourcing, software development and distribution, venture capital financing, infrastructure projects and private equity. Bill also represents a variety of enterprises at all stages of their development, from emerging technology companies to publicly-traded global outsourcing suppliers. Bill has more than twenty-five years of experience counseling investors and buyers and sellers of a variety of businesses. This extensive industry experience allows Bill to help clients efficiently achieve practical business outcomes and structure, finance and implement their corporate strategies.
Bill frequently lectures at business and professional programs on topics of interest to technology companies including the North American Annual Meeting of the Licensing Executives Society and Connecticut Venture Group, and has written on various legal issues affecting technology companies. He is a member of the Connecticut Venture Group and the Connecticut Technology Council. Bill is also a member of the American Bar Association's Section on Business Law, the Connecticut Bar Association, the Intellectual Property Owners Association, the Association for Corporate Growth and chair of the Greenwich, Connecticut Chapter of Business Forums International. Bill is the firm's hiring partner.

He received his undergraduate degree cum laude from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York and his law degree cum laude from Western New England College School of Law, where he was an instructor in legal research and writing. Bill also attended the Masters in Law program in taxation at New York University. Before law school, Bill was an economist with the Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics in New York City.
