Pearson, Jared

Although Jared primarily grew up in Idaho, he has lived and worked in a number of different states, including Hawaii, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, and Utah. Jared enjoys the outdoors immensely and during the summer months can often be found dirt biking or rock climbing. He also enjoys camping, hiking, boating, hunting and skiing. When Jared does find some quite time he can often be found with a book or two, and he also enjoys and excels in writing.

Jared received his Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice from Weber State University and graduated on the Dean's List with honors. Upon receiving his degree Jared spent two years in Washington DC working for Paltech, a government contracting firm, wherein Jared worked with some of our nation's senators and congressmen in order to secure bids and funding for the education of children in third-world countries

While living in DC, Jared worked with many lawyers and decided that he could accomplish more of his lifelong goals by becoming an attorney. Jared attended Brigham Young University Law School and clerked for Gordon & Rees in Las Vegas during the summers of law school. Upon graduation Jared was offered a job with Gordon & Rees but decided to stay in Utah and has been practicing here ever since.

Before coming to Eveland & Associates Jared practiced law in both Salt Lake and Utah Counties and represented companies and individuals in a number of matters, including family law, contract disputes, personal injury, real estate transactions, criminal defense, and bankruptcy. Jared’s knowledge and experience in many avenues of law allows him to offer his clients representation in a wide range of legal matters. Jared takes pride in the fact that most of his cases stem from client referrals or repeat business. Jared is committed to giving back to the community and he offers bro bono services to those in need on a case by case basis. Jared has handled bankruptcies, divorces, contract disputes, business formations, and many other cases on a pro bono basis.

Jared currently lives in Utah with his wife and three kids.
