Meredith P. Murphy assists clients with the administration of trusts and estates, and works with clients on estate planning through the creation of wills, revocable trusts, special needs trusts, irrevocable trusts (including irrevocable insurance trusts and asset protection trusts), powers of attorney, the use of lifetime gifting, charitable foundations, and closely-held business succession planning. Ms. Murphy further works with clients on post-death trust and probate administration, and appears before the probate court to obtain and administer conservatorship and guardianship estates for minors and disabled adults.
Ms. Murphy earned her Bachelor of Arts in 2001 from Loyola University Chicago where she majored in History, and minored in Political Science, English and Theology. She received her Juris Doctorate from St. Louis University in 2004, and her Masters (LLM) in Taxation from Washington University School of Law in May, 2010. Ms. Murphy is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Illinois.
Ms. Murphy serves as a member of the Loyola Academy Junior Board and is also an active member of the St. Louis-Jefferson chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
