Steve Mixter's practice focuses on providing corporate real estate services to companies that are not primarily in the real estate industry but occupy real estate as a necessary support function for their core businesses. He represents clients on all aspects of the acquisition, disposition, leasing, financing, and development of commercial and industrial real estate. In addition to leading portfolio wide representations of several major companies in their corporate real estate matters, Steve has been involved in numerous multi-asset transactions for Fortune 500 and other companies and also has handled several major public/private projects.

Steve's representative clients include the Cleveland Cavaliers, Continental Airlines, Gross Builders, and KeyCorp. He has represented KeyCorp since 1997 in its corporate real estate matters, including several outsourcing transactions. He also has been involved in significant expansions of Continental's airport hub facilities at the Newark, Houston, and Cleveland airports; the development of sports facilities such as the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland and Toyota Center in Houston; and the development of cultural institutions such as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland. Steve has handled the purchase and sale of interests in extensive fiber-optic telecommunications systems and the acquisition, disposition, and financing of various types of mineral interests and related facilities.

Steve serves on the board of the regional CoreNet Global chapter and is chairman of the Programs Committee. He is the former board chairman of Youth Opportunities Unlimited, a nonprofit that works with at-risk youth in Cleveland, and recently was named a trustee for life.
