Joseph A. Mendelsohn is a member of the casualty practice group focusing his practice on a wide variety of cases including premises liability, motor vehicle negligence, and negligent security. He has defended matters involving condominium and homeowner associations along with retail establishments and automobile dealerships. His skills and experience have resulted in the majority of these matters settling significantly below the demand.
Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, Joseph worked for a general civil trial and appellate practice law firm where he handled insurance defense matters involving premises liability and asbestos litigation. He is a member of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association and the Defense Research Institute.
After graduating from the University of Central Florida in 2003 with a B.A. in Political Science, he earned his Juris Doctor at the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2006. He was a member of the John Marshall Bar Association - the student bar association affiliated with the Law Student Division of the American Bar Association and the Florida Bar. Currently a member of the Florida Bar, he is admitted to practice in the state of Florida.
