Attorney Medrano earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminology from Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois. Before attending law school, she worked in Social Services as a family educator and later as a case manager for a private agency serving at-risk families in Northwest Cook County.
Attorney Medrano earned her law degree from Marquette University Law School in 2008. While in law school Attorney Medrano interned at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and participated in the Marquette Unemployment Compensation Clinic. She was also selected to compete at the Robert F. Wagner National Labor and Employment Law Moot Court Competition held at the New York Law School.
Attorney Medrano is a volunteer attorney with the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic at the Council for the Spanish Speaking, Inc. in Milwaukee. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Wisconsin Bar Association, the Milwaukee Bar Association, the Wisconsin Hispanic Lawyers Association, the Wisconsin Association of Workers Compensation Attorneys and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives.
