McNulty, Brian J.

Brian M. McGuire is an associate at Frommer Lawrence & Haug LLP.  His practice focuses on procurement and enforcement of intellectual property rights, including patent prosecution, litigation, the preparation of patent infringement, validity and freedom-to-operate opinions, intellectual property due diligence, and client counseling on intellectual property matters. 

His experience covers a broad array of technology, which includes: clean technology, biofuels technology, telecommunications, mechanical, electro-mechanical, semiconductor manufacture and related materials and processes, paper and fabric processing and materials, biometrics, avionics safety systems, business methods and financial systems, computer hardware and software, computer networking and architecture, and plant breeding and fertilizers.  Mr. McGuire has experience in all aspects of patent prosecution, including interference practice.  As a litigator, he has served as counsel for all stages of patent litigation, from initial pleadings to trial.  Mr. McGuire has also provided strategic counsel on issues evolving from participation in Standard Setting Organizations.

Mr. McGuire actively engages in public speaking and writing on a wide range of IP topics, including numerous presentations on evolving standard-setting jurisprudence.
