Bernadette Ginger McGuire has experience in family based immigration, deportation/removal defense, consular processing, citizenship, and business based immigration. Her experience also includes strategic work with immigrant and non immigrant visas, to fit the needs of her clients.
She is a frequent speaker on family-based visa issues, such as adjustment of status, fiance(e) visas, and removal of conditions, on a national and local level. She is also a citizenship and naturalization instructor for the Denver Public Libraries.
Ms. McGuire has successfully represented clients in front of the Executive Office for Immigration Review and the Board of Immigration Appeals in removal/deportation proceedings. To that end, she has developed her removal practice around clients who have complex criminal issues, previous immigration violations and appeals.
Her experience also includes detailed analysis of business compliance with the Form I-9 as well as providing an ongoing maintenance program for her business clients.
She is an elected officer of the American Immigration Lawyers Association Colorado Chapter and served as Chapter President in 2009-2010. She is also an elected officer of the New Members Division of the American Immigration Lawyers Association which supports all newer members to the national bar association.
