Rosanna's practice includes complex commercial litigation with a focus on antitrust. She has experience in multidistrict class action litigation alleging price-fixing in violation of the Sherman Act as well as class action lawsuits alleging violations of state antitrust laws. In addition, she has extensive experience in assisting clients defend mergers before the Federal Trade Commission by responding to "second requests" under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act and drafting white papers. She also has been involved in internal antitrust investigations and representation of clients in response to requests for information from the European Union antitrust authorities.
Furthermore, Rosanna has experience in international arbitration, representing clients before arbitral panels of the International Chamber of Commerce.
Representative clients include Dell, Procter & Gamble, The Sherwin-Williams Co., and Veolia Proprete.
Rosanna is also active in pro bono activities including the representation of a death row inmate on appeal of his conviction and sentence to the Virginia Supreme Court and the representation of a commodities broker appealing a finding of liability for securities fraud under the Commodity Exchange Act to the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and to the U.S. Supreme Court. She also participates in the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Program Advice and Referral Clinic, which provides free walk-in legal advice regarding civil matters to members of the community who are unable to afford legal representation.
