James Malkin received his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from California State University at San Francisco. He then went on to earn his law degree from the San Fernando Valley College of Law and was admitted to practice in 1977.
In 1983, bringing his strong civil litigation background with him, he joined the firm of Goldschmid, Silver and Spindel and, subsequently, became a senior litigator and partner of the firm in 1988.
Mr. Malkin has been a past president of the Southern California Applicants Association. Currently, he sits on the Board of Governors and the Regulations Committee of the California Applicants Attorney's Association.
