Terrence M. Franklin is a 1984 graduate of Northwestern University and a 1989 graduate of Harvard Law School. Terry previously practiced with the Los Angeles office of Morrison & Foerster and as a partner of Ross, Sacks & Glazier. Terry has extensive trial and appellate experience, including successful published appeals and a California Supreme Court case. Terry is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and is a member of its Fiduciary Litigation Committee, the Program Committee, and is a Director of the ACTEC Foundation. Terry is a member of the Planning Committee for the University of Southern California Probate and Trust Conference; a Council member of the ABA Real Property Trust and Estate Law Section, and past Chair of its Ethics and Malpractice Committee. He is also a member of the Diversity Committee of the ABA Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section and a former member of the Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law Advisory Committee of the California Board of Legal Specialization. He has lectured to national, state and local estate planning and probate groups such as the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, the American Bar Association Real Property Trust and Estate Law Section, USC Probate and Trust Conference, the Southern California Tax and Estate Planning Forum, Matthew Bender & Co., and the Practicing Law Institute in New York and California.
