Joel Weisberg was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and moved for central Pennsylvania in 1971. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and a cum laude graduate of its School of Law. After law school, Mr. Weisberg served a tour of duty in Vietnam as a Captain in the Army Intelligence Corp, where he earned a Bronze Star. In addition to practicing law in Harrisburg, he has been a public servant for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for over 25 years, holding the positions of Deputy Attorney General, Director of the Bureau of Consumer Protection, Director of the State Bureau of Weights and Measures, Chief Counsel to the State Department of Community Affairs, and Director of the Bureau of Disability Determination. Mr. Weisberg currently resides in Mount Joy with his wife Jill.
