Ms. Villarrubia is involved within the legal community. She has been the chair of the Community affairs Sub- Committee of the Latino Affairs Committee through the Indiana State Bar Association where she has organized town hall meetings, such as "the Latino Vote Counts", as well as organized Talk to a Lawyer through organizations such as La Plaza. She also organizes the Spanish call-in line each year through the Indiana State Bar Association annual Talk to a Lawyer Program.
