As a child, I was a military brat. My father was in the Army. So, when people ask me where I am from, I have a hard time answering the question since most of my childhood was spent traveling around the world. However, my parents have retired in Fayetteville, North Carolina. So, Fayetteville is where I think of as home.

I am a bit of a foodie. In fact, I often steal recipe ideas from Iron Chef America and Top Chef. My schedule does not allow me much time to cook but, I love to do it when I can. My only child is of the furry and four-legged variety. She is a Samoyed and, her name is Artemis. I named her after my favorite Greek goddess. Yes, I fully realize that fact earns me a geek badge. We frequent dog parks in the Triangle area so, if you ever see us around, do not hesitate to stop and say hello.
