Lallo, Ernest A.

Amanda Tucker received her J.D. from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University; prior to Law School she attended The University of Texas at Austin where she earned a B.A. in Anthropology. Throughout Law School, Amanda interned with the Harris County District Attorney and the Harris County Attorney's Office, focusing on cases surrounding juvenile issues and CPS litigation.

Amanda's primary practice area revolves around family Law including cases in the Juvenile Court system. She has served as a court appointed Ad-Litem Attorney and has experience representing both children and parents in matters involving CPS. Amanda has experience in handling personal injury cases, DTPA litigation, and HOA/POA litigation. She's also worked on cases involving Native American rights and issues surrounding the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA). Additionally, Amanda is published in the Whittier Legal Journal of Family and Child Advocacy for an article debating the constitutionality of ICWA.

Prior to Law School, Amanda taught middle and high school on the Navajo Indian reservation and due to this experience maintains a strong interest in both juvenile and indigenous issues.
