Krohngold, Walter H.

I am a Family Law Attorney, Mediator, and Family Law Collaborative Attorney practicing primarily in Oakland, Washtenaw, and Wayne counties. My financial background assists in analysis of the marital estate (assets and liabilities) and resolving financial disputes. My philosophy is to resolve each case amicably when possible to minimize the damage of divorce. I also believe that alternative dispute resolution options are cost effective both emotionally and financially. My focus when advocating for a client or when acting as a neutral facilitative mediator is to assist with a range of options to achieve settlement of each issue surrounding divorce, separate maintenance (legal separation), child custody, parenting time (visitation), child support, spousal support (alimony), paternity, property division, qualified domestic relations orders and domestic personal protection orders. I enjoy volunteering with the Schoolcraft College Transition Center which offers resources, support groups, guided group discussions, and consultations. I enjoy spending time with my family including two children.
