Rebekah Sullivan began her legal career serving low-income victims of domestic violence through a legal services office in northeastern Ohio, before serving as a law clerk to Justice Robert D. Rucker on the Indiana Supreme Court in 2008-2009.
Ms. Sullivan joined Kuder, Smollar, & Friedman, P.C., in 2010, after leaving a general litigation practice to return to family law. Admitted in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Ohio, she focuses her practice on divorce, spousal support, prenuptial agreements, child custody, child support, domestic protection orders, and other issues related to family law.
In addition to litigation, Ms. Sullivan works with domestic clients to find solutions through mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. Ms. Sullivan provides pro bono services through the District of Columbia Superior Court Attorney Negotiator Project.
A former WPSL player, Ms. Sullivan spends much of her free time playing soccer in various Washington-area leagues. She finds the rigors and rewards of competitive soccer to be a good metaphor for a family law practice.
