Scott Stinebruner is a Partner, in the Louisville office of Wood, Herron & Evans, and is involved in all phases of the firm's intellectual property practice. He was admitted to the Minnesota Bar in 1993, the Ohio Bar in 1998, and the Kentucky Bar in 2007, and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Scott joined Wood, Herron & Evans in 1997 after about four years of practice with an intellectual property law firm in Minnesota. His primary focus is in patent, trademark and copyright counseling, procurement, licensing and protection, with particular emphasis in Internet/Computer software, computer architectures, digital electronics, e-commerce and business processes.
He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a computer science minor in 1989 from Washington University. He graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1993.
Scott is an active member of the American and Cincinnati Intellectual Property Law Associations and the Louisville Bar Association. He resides in Louisville, Kentucky with his wife Terri and their two children.
