Ms. Jonassen is a licensed Social Security disability representative who has gained years of experience working with two other prestigious law firms specializing in Social Security disability prior to being employed by Terry Katz & Associates, P.C. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Siena College, wherein she received an B.A. in English, with specialization in Legal Writing, Communication, and Legal Practice. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha, which is the highest award granted to Siena College graduates who have achieved academic excellence and have demonstrated an awareness of the problems facing society and a sincere concern for others.

She is currently a member of multiple disability advocacy groups, including the National Association of Disability Representatives ("NADR"), and Personal Injury Lawyers Marketing and Management Associates ("PILMMA"), among others, and she has attending various conferences and seminars pertaining to the area of Social Security disability. She has also been a lead writer in blogs and forums pertaining specifically to increasing both other representatives' and claimants' knowledge of Social Security disability practice.

Ms. Jonassen continues to be a devoted advocate of Social Security law who is constantly striving to increase her knowledge and practice skills. She is well-known for her friendly demeanor, and persistence in assisting her clients in any way possible. She is very passionate about her work and very proud that she works everyday to help the injured obtain the benefits to which she believes they are entitled.
