A. Sidney Johnston is Of Counsel to the firm. His practice is focused on patent drafting and prosecution in high technology arts including computer hardware, computer software, electronics analog/digital, control systems, optics, semiconductor devices, lasers, medical imaging equipment, radioisotope usage, and other physical science technologies. He has represented clients before the Supreme Court of the United States and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He also assists clients in obtaining trademark and copyright protection. He has taught Medical Nuclear Physics at The University of Chicago, Patent Law at Illinois Institute of Technology, and college physics at Pratt Institute and at other colleges.
