Jackson, Emily J.

Laura is a native of York County whose practice focuses on general civil law with a concentration in business matters, bankruptcy and litigation. 

While in law school, Laura earned the Certificates of Completion in both Business and Tax Law.  Prior to joining MPL, Laura had the opportunity to teach United States legal theory to students at Harbin Institute of Technology, in Harbin, Peoples Republic of China .  She also gained valuable experience while interning at the York County Public Defenders Office and with an Oregon consultant hired for York County land use project.

Although Laura's practice concentrates on business matters, her educational background and personal background as an avid equestrian, have created lasting ties to agricultural community and environmental groups within the community and in her spare time she enjoys working for non-profits and other organizations active in these areas.
