Gierach, Denice A.

Lea A. Ream is President of the Firm, Chair of the Firm's Shareholders Compensation Committee and a shareholder of the Firm.  She is a member of the Firm's Litigation Section.  She was educated at Southwestern University (BA, 1987) and the University of Texas (JD, 1991).  She is a member of the San Antonio Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, the San Antonio Young Lawyers Association and the Texas Young Lawyers Association.

Ms. Ream's practice includes the representation of public clients such as municipalities and their utilities dealing with areas such as the development and preparation of easements and various types of contracts for city services. She has also handled litigation matters for insurance clients including suits involving premise liability, negligence, the Texas Tort Claims Act and the Deceptive Trade Practices Act.

In the environmental area, she has addressed issues involving the Endangered Species Act and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act.
