I was born in Baton Rouge in 1964.   In 1986, I graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in business administration.   In 1992 I received a law degree from L.S.U.’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center.  Since my admission to practice, I have tried cases in many State and Federal Courts in Louisiana and elsewhere.   My practice has centered primarily in the area of criminal defense of individuals and corporate representatives.   I have also been involved in both plaintiff and defense representation in a variety of civil matters.
In 2010, I was honored to serve as President of the Baton Rouge Bar Association.   Being active in the legal community has been a crucial and beneficial part of my professional life.    Throughout my career, I have been a member of Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.     I am very proud to be a lawyer and thoroughly enjoy what I do.   The practice of law provides the distinct privilege and opportunity to help individuals whether they simply need competent counsel or perhaps an aggressive defense.
