Andrew I. Chung obtained his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley in 2003. While attending law school, Andrew served as a law clerk at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, where he assisted underprivileged clients in diverse substantive issues including family, immigration, and housing eviction law. Andrew was the recipient of a Public Interest scholarship in law school.
Prior to joining Pettit Kohn, Andrew practiced both plaintiff's and defense litigation in the areas of employment, trade secrets, premises liability, Americans with Disabilities Act, and wrongful death. He has been involved in several large value settlements for his clients and has been successful in obtaining favorable results for his clients through law and motion work. Andrew also has appellate experience through the California Court of Appeals and 9th Circuit Court of Appeal.
Andrew is licensed to practice before all courts of the State of California. His primary focus at Pettit Kohn is in retail litigation matters.
