Andrew Blanchfield, born in Paterson, New Jersey, was admitted to the bar in Louisiana in 1985. His education includes the University of Wisconsin (B.A.) and Louisiana State University and A&M College (J.D.). He served as Law Clerk to Hon. Marcel Livaudais, Jr., U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Louisiana, 1985-1987. He is a member of the Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Louisiana State and American Bar Associations and is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts, as well as the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. His areas of practice include professional liability, medical malpractice, nursing home, employment law, insurance, bad faith litigation, commercial litigation and general litigation. He also receives select referrals from the State of Louisiana, Attorney General's Office.
