Bello, Salvatore F.

John Belt is a native of Cleveland, Ohio.  He graduated from the United States Air Force Academy with a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics.  He attributes his success as a lawyer in large part to the lessons and discipline learned from his time at the Air Force Academy and military service.  

Mr. Belt attended law school at the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review.  His law review article, XXX, was published in the New Mexico Law Journal.  He also participated in Moot Court where his team won its regional competition and he was voted Outstanding Oral Advocate.   
Mr. Belt has devoted his career to representing individuals and families with their legal matters.  He prides himself of representing his clients with compassion, integrity, and professionalism.  While he has handled numerous criminal defense and personal injury cases over the course of his career, his practice now focuses exclusively on divorce and other family law matters.  Mr. Belt often handles difficult or contested custody cases that other attorney’s shy away from.  Many of Mr. Belt’s clients are referred to him by other attorneys, even other family law attorneys.

John and his wife live in Fountain Hills, Arizona with their six children, a “blended” family. They enjoy family activities such as hiking, boating, playing sports together, and family vacations. On occasion, John finds time to hit the rink and brush up on his hockey skills. Six years ago, John and his family opened their home to four siblings who needed foster care for six months. Mr. Belt attributes his skills and compassion in handling custody and divorce matters to his own life experiences, which are often similar to his clients.
