Katherine Zucca is a counsel in the Securities Department, and a member in the Securities Litigation and Enforcement Practice Group. She joined the firm in 2004.
Practice
Ms. Zucca works with clients in connection with enforcement matters brought by the Securities and Exchange Commission and securities self-regulating organizations. She has experience in a wide range of issues including accounting matters, insider trading, and internal investigations.
Ms. Zucca also has experience working on securities litigation before state and federal courts, including representing several underwriters in litigation concerning initial public offerings.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Zucca clerked for the Honorable Christina A. Snyder of the Central District of California. She received her JD from the University of California at Berkeley where she was a member of the Berkeley Journal of International Law and was elected to the Order of the Coif. From 1999 to 2000, Ms. Zucca was a Fulbright Fellow in Montreal, Canada.
Honors and Awards
Ms. Zucca is a recipient of the firm's Pickering fellowship in Washington, DC, established in honor of John H. Pickering. She spent six months practicing at the Washington Lawyers Committee, the premier civil rights law firm in the District of Columbia.
