Matthew M. McCarthy has substantial experience in providing legal advice to businesses on a wide variety of contractual and operational issues. Business clients range in size from sole proprietorships and closely held private companies up to and including large publicly owned companies.
 
From 1986 to 1994, Mr. McCarthy was Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Wetterau Incorporated, then the nation's third largest publicly held food wholesaler and retailer.

From 1994 to 2001, he served as Vice President and General Counsel for United Industries Corporation d/b/a Spectrum Brands, a privately owned manufacturer and distributor of lawn and garden products.
