Jason Wright has represented corporations and public entities in a range of commercial litigation matters. His experience includes litigating claims for third-party indemnification, breach of contract, trademark, and unfair competition and more recently insurance recovery cases, including a case in which the insurers settled and paid 100 percent of the policy benefits to Jones Day's client. Jason also represents Experian Information Solutions and manages several cases in which individual consumers have alleged violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
In addition, Jason participates in pro bono representations. Most recently, he litigated a domestic violence restraining order through trial, obtaining a three-year order of protection for the client. Jason also has represented an indigent prisoner in a long-running case against the state of California to secure the inmate's constitutional right to religious freedom.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Jason worked at Southern California Edison as a summer extern in their in-house counsel department.
