SAMIR YAKHOU became an associate at Passman & Kaplan, P.C. in January 2013 after serving as the firm’s law clerk from June 2011 while in law school. As a law clerk with the firm, Mr. Yakhou assisted P&K’s attorneys in various employment and labor law litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Yakhou worked as a law clerk assisting in labor law matters in the Office of the General Counsel of the American Federation of Government Employees in Washington, DC. Mr. Yakhou’s law school work experience also included a summer research assistant position at the United Nations Development Programme Asia-Pacific Regional Centre in Bangkok, Thailand, where he focused on access to justice.
Mr. Yakhou earned his undergraduate degree in English from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2008, and his Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC in 2012.
Mr. Yakhou is a member of the bar of state of New York.
