Annika is an associate in Lieff Cabraser's New York office and has represented plaintiffs since 2005 inenvironmental, mass tort, consumer protection, antitrust and intellectual property cases. She has contributed to the firm’s representation of clients in the De Beers, Credit Card, Comcast and Air Cargoantitrust actions, where she focused primarily on legal drafting, discovery, and deposition preparation. She also oversaw discovery and assisted in motion practice in the YouTube intellectual property litigation.

For the past two years, Annika has been representing individuals, property owners, and business owners across the Gulf Coast in class action litigation against BP (formerly British Petroleum) and the other companies responsible for the blowout on the Deepwater Horizon oil rig on April 20, 2010, which resulted in the worst oil spill in U.S. history. Annika was deeply involved in negotiating and implementing the settlements with BP that will fully compensate hundreds of thousands of victims of the tragedy. There is no cap or limit to how much BP will pay to compensate spill victims under the Court-Supervised Settlement Program; all eligible claims will be paid.

Annika is fluent in Swedish and conversational in French, Dutch and Spanish.
