Michael graduated from the University of Houston with a BA in History in 1990, and graduated from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1998. Since becoming a member of the State Bar of Georgia in 1998, Michael has handled cases in a variety of areas, but has specialized in workers’ compensation for the past 12 years.
Michael leads the firm’s workers’ compensation practice group, and his practice is exclusively limited to representing injured workers. Prior to representing injured workers, Michael represented insurance companies and employers across Georgia. Because of his experience on the employer/insurer side of the practice, Michael has insight into the strategies insurers use when handling workers’ compensation claims.
Outside of the office Michael is active in his church, where he teaches youth. He has also traveled to Alaska the past two years as part of a church mission team that works with poor children in Anchorage. Michael and his wife have two children, with whom he greatly enjoys spending time. Michael’s hobbies include creative writing, cooking, and firearms.Wailuku Law Lawyer |
