Linda Crook Martin received her Bachelor's and her Law Degrees from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Tennessee in 1972 and 1980, respectively, and was admitted to practice in Oklahoma in 1980, and in Arkansas in 2005. Ms. Martin practices in the area of environmental law and water law with over 25 years experience in both litigation and regulatory matters. Ms. Martin is a fellow in the American College of Environmental Lawyers and served on its Board of Regents from 2009-2012. The American College of Environmental Lawyers is an invitation-only professional association of preeminent environmental lawyers throughout the United States. Ms. Martin has been listed in the Best Lawyers of America in the area of Environmental Law since 2005. She was designated Lawyer of the Year 2013 in Tulsa by Best Lawyers in the area of Environmental Law. In Super Lawyers since 2006, she is designated one of the Top 50 Oklahoma Super Lawyers for 2012, and one of the Top 25 Women Oklahoma Super Lawyers for 2010-2012.
The Journal Record selected Ms. Martin as one of fifty women Making a Difference in the State of Oklahoma as a finalist in the Woman of the Year program. Ms. Martin is a frequent speaker for continuing legal education in Oklahoma, and is a long time member of the Oklahoma Bar Association Women in Law Committee. She was one of the founding members and treasurer of the Environmental Law Section of the Oklahoma Bar Association. In 2005, Urban Tulsa Weekly selected Ms. Martin as one of the Top 100 Tulsans based on her expertise in environmental law. Ms. Martin handles cases, both regulatory and litigation, in all areas of environmental law, including without limitation, hazardous waste, natural resources, Superfund, and water quality. She is a member of the American Bar Association Section of Natural Resources, Energy and Environment and the Litigation Section. She is licensed to practice in both Oklahoma and Arkansas, and is admitted to practice in all federal courts in Oklahoma, the Western District of Arkansas, and the United States Supreme Court.
