Steve is a Nationally Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer, and Steve was voted a Connecticut Super Lawyer ® in 2006, 2007, 2010 and 2011, and a New England Super Lawyer ® in 2009, 2010, and 2011, in Business Litigation by his peers. Steve has a law practice focus on complex civil litigation, and with an emphasis on catastrophic civilian, military and foreign aircraft accidents worldwide. Steve also has substantial trial, appellate, mediation, and structured settlement experience with cases involving serious personal injury, wrongful death, medical and professional malpractice, product and premises liability, commercial disputes, trusts and estates, divorce, and class actions.
Steve is admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts in Connecticut and Massachusetts, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and before the United States Supreme Court. Steve has tried cases and taken appeals before all Connecticut state, Appellate and Supreme Courts, the Federal District courts of Connecticut, California and Massachusetts, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second and Ninth Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court.

Steve was born and lives in Boston, MA and sees clients in both the Boston and West Hartford, CT offices. His education included Williston Academy, Sacre Coeur College in Compiegne, France, Bishops Stortford College in Hertford, England, Susquehanna University, and Western New England School of Law with distinction. Steve speaks French and Spanish. He is a classical and jazz guitar buff and outdoorsman, and he is involved in many community programs and activities.
