Steven G. Wolschina is a partner with the firm and the resident partner of the firm's Woodbury, New Jersey office. He concentrates his practice in the following areas: hospital administration and health care law including general corporate matters Including all types of contract negotiation and drafting), medical staff issues, insurance matters, financing, policy drafting and implementation, and patient rights issues; labor and employment law focusing on employment policies and practices, including discrimination and wrongful discharge, and collective bargaining; as well as employee benefits law including representation of Taft-Hartley trust funds; and construction industry contracting.
Mr. Wolschina serves as general counsel to Underwood-Memorial Hospital, in Woodbury, New Jersey.
After receiving his undergraduate degree in 1968 from Rutgers University, Mr. Wolschina received his law degree from Rutgers University School of Law in 1971. While attending law school, Mr. Wolschina served as an Articles Editor for the Rutgers Law Journal.
Mr. Wolschina was admitted to practice in New Jersey in 1971. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the American, New Jersey, and Camden County Bar Associations. In addition, Mr. Wolschina is also a member of the American Academy of Hospital Attorneys, the New Jersey Society of Hospital Attorneys, Trial Attorneys of New Jersey, and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
Mr. Wolschina was born in New York, New York in 1946.
