Joshua J. Markham joined McBrayer, McGinnis, Leslie & Kirkland, PLLC as an Associate in 2002 after graduating from the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Mr. Markham practices in virtually every aspect of real estate law, including title examination, title insurance, clearing title issues, deeds, settlement statements, preparation of loan documentation, contract negotiation and preparation, lease negotiation and preparation, and any and all other needs related to residential and commercial real estate matters. He also focuses his practice on telecommunications law where he represents established and upcoming wireless service companies, land line service companies, Internet service providers and any other business in the telecommunications industry. Some of the services he commonly provides along with the other members of the telecommunications department are; planning and zoning; land leases; regulatory compliance; siting and buildout.
Mr. Markham is a frequent speaker on real estate transactions at the Kentucky Bar Association conferences and Transylvania University’s banking class. He is currently on the board of directors at the Lexington Hearing & Speech Center and a member of the Real Estate Property section of the Fayette County Bar Association. Mr. Markham was nominated and identified as a 2013 U.S. News Best Lawyers in America in the field of real estate law.
