Mr. Marfice has over twenty years of experience in trial and appellate law in both state and federal courts in Idaho and Washington. Mr. Marfice's practice emphasizes a broad range of real estate related disciplines, with a litigation emphasis. He has an AV-rating with Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Marfice has represented property owners, brokers, developers, lenders and title insurers in all manner of access, easement and boundary line disagreements, partitions, covenant enforcements, eminent domain actions, contract disputes, development matters, as well as a variety of regulatory interpretation and enforcement cases involving land use regulations, zoning compliance, Fair Housing and ADA claims, environmental matters and real estate secured lending issues. He has been certified by Idaho Real Estate Commission's Education Council as instructor of Real Estate Law, and has authored or presented continuing education certified courses in Risk Reduction, Eminent Domain, RESPA compliance, and related topics. He has presented numerous continuing education courses for real estate brokers, agents, land surveyors, attorneys, and allied professionals. Mr. Marfice has represented over fifty individual real estate brokerages located throughout the Inland Northwest in errors and omissions defense cases, administrative and licensure matters, disciplinary actions, brokerage business management matters, fee arbitrations, governmental and regulatory compliance, and franchise negotiations.
