John C. Manoog III was born in Worcester, Massachusetts on March 13, 1961. He received his B.S. from Babson College in 1983 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami Law School, cum laude, in 1994.
He was admitted to the Massachusetts State Court in 1994; United States District Court, Massachusetts in 1995. He is a member of the Boston, Barnstable and Massachusetts Bar Associations, as well as a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Mr. Manoog is a faculty member of the Massachusetts Bar Association's course on teaching attorneys how to handle, try and negotiate automobile accident cases. Mr. Manoog has been a lecturer in this program for the past three years. In addition, Mr. Manoog has served as a mentor to several young attorneys, advising them on the handling of personal injury cases. Over the past several years, Mr. Manoog has successfully tried numerous personal injury and criminal cases. Most recently, Mr. Manoog tried a case in Barnstable Superior Court and obtained a $390,000.00 jury award for his client on a case that the insurance company offered only $7,000.00 to settle.
Mr. Manoog began his legal career working for an insurance defense firm, defending the insurance companies against personal injury claims. As a result, Mr. Manoog gained a unique insight into the inner workings of the insurance industry and how they defended against personal injury claims. Mr. Manoog then took everything he learned about how the insurance industry works and started his own firm, representing people injured by the negligence of others. By using the information he gained while working for the insurance industry, Mr. Manoog has been able to maximize his clients' recovery and insure they receive the best possible settlement for their claim. In addition, in most cases where the insurance company has not been willing to pay the proper amount for a client's claim, Mr. Manoog has been able to obtain a fair and reasonable recovery for his clients through trial, arbitration or mediation.
Mr. Manoog and his firm have represented thousands of injured parties over the years with injuries ranging from wrongful death to soft tissue neck and back complaints. In addition, Mr. Manoog has also represented several corporations with their civil litigation needs. Some of Mr. Manoog's representative clients include Genesis Corporation, Fidelity Financial Corporation, Funding Services, Inc., Diversified Resorts, Inc., Kenmark Office Systems, Paddock Restaurant Group and Seaside Alarms, Inc.
