Laura G. Wilson practices exclusively in the area of U.S. immigration law. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Minnesota Law School, where she served as a student director of the Worker's Rights Clinic and Civil Rights Moot Court and a board member of the Asylum Law Project. She is fluent in Spanish. Prior to law school, Laura tutored ESL students as an Americorps VISTA member and worked as a community organizer in immigration communities in Minneapolis. She volunteered at an elder center in Guatemala and is author of the book Stories of Survival: Mayan Elders Share their Memories. Laura was a Mansfield Fellow in immigration law with Mid-Minnesota Legal Assistance and interned with Judge David Piper. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
