Wilson, Stephanie J

Stephanie Wilson graduated with distinction from the University of Kansas with a degree in Business Administration in 1997. She received her law degree from Washburn University School of Law in 2001. She started her legal career by working at McAnany, Van Cleave & Phillips, P.A., a prominent workers compensation defense firm in Kansas City. While there, she represented employers and insurance companies defending work comp claims. She left this firm to do something more meaningful – to represent injured workers. She opened her own firm in Lawrence in 2003 and she has been in Lawrence ever since.

Stephanie is the Past President and is on the Board of Directors for the Douglas County Bar Association. She is an active member of the Kansas Association for Justice and National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. She regularly publishes workers compensation articles in the KSAJ Journal and in the Kansas Bar Association Journal and she helps educate other attorneys as a speaker at continuing education seminars.

Stephanie lives in Lawrence with her family. In her spare time, she volunteers for good causes, like Just Food.
