Amanda Major is a counsel in the firm's Litigation/Controversy Department, and a member of the Intellectual Property Litigation and Investigations and Criminal Litigation Practice Groups. She joined the firm in 2004.
Practice
Ms. Major's practice focuses on patent litigation. She has represented clients in arbitration proceedings and in jury trials in federal courts. Ms. Major's cases have involved technologies such as safety syringes, biologic therapies, biopsy devices and microprocessors. Ms. Major has also represented clients in grand jury investigations involving allegations of health-care fraud and tax fraud.
Ms. Major received a JD from Stanford Law School in 2004, where she served as an articles editor on the Stanford Law Review and as a student attorney for the Stanford Community Law Clinic. Ms. Major graduated from Wake Forest University in 2001 with a BA in chemistry.
Ms. Major is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the District of Columbia.
