John Wilson is a partner in the Land and Resources Practice Group and a leading member of the firm's Energy and Sustainability Industry Team. His practice is concentrated in all aspects of energy including electric, natural gas, renewables and public utility law. In particular, Mr. Wilson has extensive experience in obtaining regulatory approvals for construction and operation of utility infrastructure. In addition to his regulatory experience, Mr. Wilson has extensive transactional experience in the renewable sector, including the negotiation of power purchase agreements, asset sales agreements, construction and procurement documents, interconnection agreements, real estate leases and easements, and financing documents for renewable energy projects, including wind and solar. Mr. Wilson has counseled wind clients on projects representing approximately 2400 MWs.
