J. Christopher Wilson (Chris) was born April 22, 1969 in Bamberg, South Carolina. He attended Bamberg public schools and graduated from Bamberg-Ehrhardt High School in 1987. He then attended undergraduate college at Wofford College where he graduated in 1991 with honors and as a Phi Beta Kappa inductee. He was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1994 after receiving his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. After law school, he served as a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable Frank McGowan, Jr., South Carolina Circuit Court Judge, before entering the private practice of law. He is a member of the South Carolina Association for Justice. He is an experienced trial attorney with an extensive and varied personal injury, criminal, real estate and probate practice. He is married to the former Dana Lauren Price of Marion, South Carolina and they have one daughter, Ansley and two sons, Graham and Price. Mr. Wilson has served as an elected Bamberg County Councilman since January 2001.
