Wilmer, John W.

Robert (Bob) Mahoney was a member of the firm's Litigation Department for over 30 years. His practice focused on insurance regulatory matters relating to the motor vehicle, workers' compensation, and medical malpractice markets; as well as on trade regulation matters, including franchise disputes involving new automobile dealer appointments and terminations.

Before joining the firm in 1972, he clerked for the Honorable Andrew A. Caffrey, chief judge of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.

Mr. Mahoney chaired and served on the firm's Executive Committee. For many years, Mr. Mahoney also served on the board of consultors of Villanova University Law School.
