A talented, innovative, and creative attorney, Kevin J. Williams joined our firm in May 2002 after accruing experience in medical malpractice, construction, automobile liability, and premises liability litigation as a defense attorney, a training ground that provides invaluable insight and experience.
Kevin's current focus consists of catastrophic personal injury cases of all types, including commercial motor vehicle (trucking) accidents, railroad disasters, and medical malpractice cases including birth injuries, failure to diagnose serious conditions and diseases, and improper administration of medications.
A native of Philadelphia and a graduate of Duke University, Kevin earned his law degree from Wake Forest University in 1996. He is active in a variety of professional organizations, including the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, professional negligence section, as well as the automobile torts section in which he currently serves as Membership Committee Co-Chair; the North Carolina Bar Association; and the North Carolina State Bar. Kevin is a former President of the Forsyth County Bar's Young Lawyers Division (YLD). As a past Board Member of this association, Kevin spearheaded the development of a Continuing Legal Education course entitled Ethics, Professionalism and Advice for the New Attorney. The course was designed to acclimate new attorneys to the practice of law and to provide a valuable refresher to more experienced jurists.
Kevin has been admitted to practice in all North Carolina federal district and state courts, as well as the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
